The Metropolitan University Research Society (MURS), in collaboration with FutureNation and with the valued support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), successfully organized an insightful and impactful Research Masterclass aimed at enhancing students’ research literacy, analytical thinking, and practical research skills.
The session was graced by the distinguished keynote speaker, Munshi Naser Ibne Afzal, Associate Professor at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), who shared valuable insights on the significance of research as a long-term academic, professional, and societal pursuit. His engaging discussion highlighted the fundamentals of research, effective methodology design, academic writing strategies, and the growing role of AI-powered research tools in modern scholarly work.
The masterclass created an interactive learning environment where students actively participated in discussions, exchanged ideas, and explored the future possibilities of interdisciplinary research and innovation. The enthusiastic engagement of participants reflected the strong commitment of MURS toward building a research-oriented generation and fostering a culture of academic excellence, critical thinking, and sustainable development.
MURS extends heartfelt gratitude to FutureNation, UNDP, the respected keynote speaker, and all participants for making this initiative meaningful and inspiring. Together, we continue our journey toward Research, Impact, and Development.
